Editing a User

Note: You cannot delete a user, but you can make a user dormant (Active = No). This prevents the user from being able to log in.

To edit a user (including resetting the user’s password), follow these steps:

  1. From the Create or Edit Users page, click Edit for the user that you want to edit. The Edit <user name> page is shown.
  2. Edit Display Name, Email, Active, and/or User Roles as required.

    Note: For a description of each of these fields, see Adding a User.

  3. To reset the user’s password:
    1. Click Reset Password. The Reset Password dialog box appears.
    2. Click Reset Password. The user’s new password is shown.
    3. Tell the user their new password, and then click OK to close the dialog box.
