Unlocking an Element

When you are designing an element, Syntelate XA locks it to help prevent other users making changes at the same time. After you finish working on an element, you need to unlock it so that the element becomes available to other users.

You can unlock an element either from design mode or from the listing page.

Unlocking from Design Mode

If you are working on an element in design mode, you can unlock it by closing it. Select Close this view. Closing the element also unlocks it.

Unlocking from the Listing Page

  1. In the list of elements, click Unlock for the element you want to unlock. The Confirm Unlock dialog appears.
  2. Click Unlock. The element will be unlocked.
