Designing a Grid

To start designing a grid, click Design in the list of grids.

Editing a Grid’s Details

To edit a grid’s details, click Edit Grid to show the Table Details section.

Edit the grid’s details as required, and then click Save.

Inserting a Column

To insert a new column into a grid, follow these steps:

  1. Click Insert. If this will be the grid’s first column, it is inserted straightaway. Otherwise, the Insert Column dialog box appears.
  2. In the Insert Column dialog box:
    1. Use the Position and Column dropdowns to select an existing column to insert the new column before or after.
    2. Click OK.

Editing a Column’s Properties

To edit a column’s properties, follow these steps:

  1. Click The properties cogwheel and then Edit. The Column Properties section shows.
  2. Edit the column’s properties as required. For a description of each property, see Column Properties.
  3. Click Save.

Reordering Columns

To reorder columns, edit the Sequence number property of the columns that you want to move.

Deleting a Column

To delete a column, click The properties cogwheel and then Delete. The Delete Column dialog box appears.

Click OK to confirm the deletion.
